I had found the quarry listed when I checked the local phone book. Since I first posted, I have acquired a copy of Peter Kerr's "Families and Holdings in the Townland of Innishatieve, Carrickmore," which reports that all the siblings of my GGM emigrated. If that information is accurate, any current McGarritys in SixMileCross would be distant connections, at best. My 2nd great grandfather was listed as "McGeraghty" in Griffiths.
