It was clearly a very rare name and I'd suggest therefore that it did not appear on your Acheson ancestor's birth certificate. He may have been christened plain Charles Acheson. There's no birth for someone named Charles Acheson in Co Tyrone in the period 1871 - 1875. The nearest (and the only birth in 1873) was a Charles Lewis Acheson whose birth was registered in Londonderry in 1873 Volume 7 page 228.
