He married Sarah Corbett in 1728. She was born 1691, Cairnryan, Scotland. Hugh, along with his wife and their first three children, two brothers and two sisters sailed in 1733 to MA. This is my direct line through their son Thompson Maxwell. I have not been able to find these brothers or sisters and am interested in your John Maxwell as a possibility.
