Her obituary states she was from County Tyrone. She married Owen McFarland from County Leitram (1818-1898). They married in Boston in 1849. Their first child was born in Boston. The rest of their 8 children were born in San Francisco. The children were Mary E., Helen Frances, John Bernard, Margaret A., Annie Gertrude, Isabella C., Charles Peter and Rosanna Catherine. Rosanna's sister was Margaret Early (1835 to 1884). She married John Henry O'Brien (1831-1878). Both died in San Francisco. Their 5 children were born in California. They are Charles Anthony, John Francis, James, Joseph Henry and Clara Marie. I have all of the obituaries and burials. I am trying to find out when they arrived and where they came from in Tyrone.
