    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: cb1718project Surnames: Means Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.tyr.general/364.1404.4.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi, Your Robert Means coming from Fermanagh in the 1718 voyage would be very unusual. Reason is, that this first mass-migration was largely church centered. The minister who came with Means and his group was from Garvagh, County Londonderry. I would suggest looking to Londonderry or Antrim for your origins. A Robert Means is in the Antrim 1669 Muster Rolls in the Dunluce region. Email me at [email protected] I am compiling a database for these families including living relatives Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
