You haven't said what denomination they were. If they were Church of Ireland the local marriage records start in 1812; if they were Presbyterian then Killeter Pres church records start in 1839 & if RC their records start in 1863. Copies of all are held in PRONI, Belfast. The name Kyle is very common in that parish with about 80 households listed in Griffiths Valuation in 1859. Rankin is much less common. Only 8 households, all in just 2 townlands Edenasop & Edenreagh (which are close to each other). 5 Rankin households in Edenasop on 1901: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Killen/Edenasop/ Only 1 Rankin in Edenreagh in 1901 where he was working as a servant. (Name mistranscribed on the census): http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Killen/Edenreagh/ 1 Rankin will for Edenasop held at PRONI. Here's the abstract (summary): Full Abstract : Probate of the Will of James Rankin late of Edenasop County Tyrone Farmer who died 18 September 1908 granted at Londonderry to John Rankin Farmer Effects £67 15s. The Rankins in Termonamongan look to have mainly been Church of Ireland. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
