I have a John Williamson born about 1841 (based on being 60 in 1901 census) who seems to have married a Sarah and produced a Thomas around 1871 (again based on being 30 in 1901 census) The same John or cousins maybe? Griffiths has a John Williamson in the area in 1860 which has my John being 19 but perhaps he is your John who would be 24 then? To further muddy the waters there is another John Williamson born 1823?
