Am currently researching the James McBride family in Co. Tyrone, Ireland. The 1911 census has them listed as follows: County Tyrone, Moorfield, Kinine McBride, James 68 Farmer Roman Catholic McBride, Rebecca 35 wife (married 9 years--no doubt the 2nd marriage) McBride, Roseanne 21 daughter McBride, MaryEllen 8 daughter McBride, Kathleen 7 daughter McBride, Rebecca J 6 daughter McBride, Josephine B. 3 daughter McBride, P P Ignatius 1 son Questions: Daughter Rose Ann was born abt. 1890, who was her mother? Rose Ann immigrated to New York, USA in 1912 aboard the ship Columbia. Ellis Island web site shows her passage being paid by a cousin and states she was going to live with her uncle, Edward Swift of 3rd Avenue New York, NewYork. Her occupation is listed as a servant. In 1914, Rose Ann McBride married Charles William Walker of Co. Sligo, Ireland and they had several children of their own and made their home in New Rochelle, NY.
