He was married to a Sarah McLaughlin (1815) and had John - Sept 1831, Henry - Aug. 1834, Sarah - 1837, Elizabeth - 1839 all born Ireland. The family then moved to Scotland and had Roseann - 1842 in Lanark and Patrick - Jan 1851 in Ayrshire. Patrick was a miner. Patrick and family were enumerated in the 1841 Scottish census in Clarkston, Lanark. I think this family may have come from Tyrone, but have not been able to find any info. Can anyone help?
