William Montgomery Pattyson b.Nov 22 1822. His father was Wm. Pattyson, His mother was Jane Montgomery of Aughnacloy. A previous search started with William Montgomery Pattyson who was born in New town, Ireland in 11-20-1822. He emigrated from Clones,Ireland 5-12-1840, sailed 5-16-1840, and arrived in Quebec 7-14-1840. His first wife was Sarah Jane McDowell, born 12-23-1821 in County Fermanagh, Ireland. She died in 8-7-1859. Their 3rd child was Wesley Armstrong Victory Emmanuel Pattyson, nicknamed WAVE from the initials of several given names. He was born in Newboro, Ontario, 9-8-1855 and descended from a line of Methodist Ministers.He died at Galeton, PA 3-25-1914. Wave's three children were my Grandfather Harry Wesley Armstrong Pattyson,his sister Edna May Montgomery Pattyson, and Ralph Edmund Armstrong Pattyson.
