Looking for any information or living descendants of Edward Murphy (born abt 1797, died abt 1857 in NY) from Donaghmore, or Ann Loughran (no birth/death data) from Killeeshil. Edward and Ann were married 20 Apr 1818 in the Parish of Killeeshil. I have a transcribed document from RootsIreland.i.e. and the actual church record (in Latin). Edward & Ann had the following children: Andrew, James, Edward (married Bridget M. Rory/McRory, Ann, Michael (my gg grandfather, married Rose Rogers), Neil/Neal, Rose. The family emigrated to New York arriving in 1848 according to the New York Emigrant Savings Bank records (and in Feb 1848 depending which entry you're looking at), aboard the ship Ashburton. I have found the ship Ashburton, but not arriving in New York in Feb 1848, and not with this family aboard. Andrew emigrated in 1841 according to the bank records on the ship Harvest, and I did find him. Any help is greatly apprecieated, Allison
