Martha, Jane, Letitia and Andrew emigrated to New York State Usa and Rebecca emigrated to Australia, I know that Rebecca was born in Newtown Stewart, Co Tyrone as i have a copy of her death certificate, so i can only assume they all came from around that area. They emigrated from 1864 - 1875 at various times. I believe that Sarah Jane Fulton/her parents originally came from Scotland and were involved in the linen trade. They were Presbyterian. April - June 1920, Volume 1, page 645. You can order a photocopy of that from GRO Roscommon for 4 euros, provided you quote the place, year, quarter, volume & page number on the application form. http://www.groireland.ie/ I would try to cross reference the information on it against information from another source eg marriage cert, death cert etc, to make sure you have the right man. If James and Maisey married in Northern Ireland, then their marriage will not be on-line. You will need to contact GRONI in Belfast and ask them to search for you. I have a John Williamson born about 1841 (based on being 60 in 1901 census) who seems to have married a Sarah and produced a Thomas around 1871 (again based on being 30 in 1901 census) The same John or cousins maybe? Griffiths has a John Williamson in the area in 1860 which has my John being 19 but perhaps he is your John who would be 24 then? To further muddy the waters there is another John Williamson born 1823? What dates are we talking about for their marriage, and what was their denomination? (Birth registration only started in Ireland in 1864. Prior to that you are reliant on baptism information. RC marriages were registered from 1864, non RC from April 1845. Prior to that it's church records again. Not all church records have survived, and even when they do many are not on-line. She was born 1800, so that means she was 21 when Eliza was born. (1821) So there is a possibility that the census year of marriage is wrong, perhaps it is 1820? It says Margaret was 22 in 1851 when her death record says she was born abt 1831.
