Tyrone, my great grandfather was James Gibson born 1839 from Cloghfin, Sixmilecross. James married Mary who was born in 1851 and had 8 children the youngest, William Thomas born in 1900 (my grand father known as Tommy). Tommy's son is my father Thomas James born in 1933 (still alive and kicking). My father has told me that the Gibsons came from Cavan and I would love to research that further if anyone can help. Hello all, my ancestor William Moore arrived in Australia in 1839, he came with his parents John Moore 1796 and Ann Anstead 1805-1887 born wakefield Yorkshire .and siblings, Johns parents were John Moore and Jane Campbell John born Ballymaguire county Tyrone. and William born Drumgormal,, Tyrone. as yet I have not been able to find any trace of them in those areas. From what I understand George Booth was born around 1852 and his parents were John Booth and Mary Devlin. My great grandmother was Mary Ann Campbell and she was born around 1847 - her parents were James Campbell and Mary Hughes.
