I am looking for GORMAN's (RC)that came from DROMORE, Tyrone. They emigrated to New Brunswick in the 1830's. Trying to piece together names to determine if they were all related, or just a coincidence that they all came from Dromore to Saint John. I have been researching Robert Burnside, born in Co. Antrim about 1760. He immigrated to American in 1817. His will states in 1841 that his eldest son is William. I have been trying to connect a William Burnsides who lived in OH with my Robert who lived in PA. I have now been able to collect William's sibling's names and have come to the conclusion they are not father and son. I do believe there is some connection and am hoping someone is researching William who immigrated to America during the period 1817-1820. William was born about 1790 and was married to a Margaret Hogg who was also born in Ulster. Thank you for any help. Linda Holley

Tyrone (published by Linda Meehan of Largy Books -- check libraries for it). Which is an a-z listing of all the households recorded for that census. It gives a lot of info from the census entries, but not every detail. It does give the LDS microfilm number # the exact reference to the individual household form so that you can order the film & look at the household's entry in its entirety. Good luck. He was a labourer who had five children (unknown mother) including the following three: *Bridget Breslin, who married Michael Mullin (these were my great-grandparents). They had two children: Patrick and Mary, both deceased. Patrick was my grandfather. *Mary Ann Breslin, who never married *Francis J. Breslin (1899-1971), who married Mary A. ? They were from Reaghan and their children were: *Patrick Breslin (d. March 1921) *William Breslin (d. Sep 1937) *Mary G. Breslin (d. Dec 1950) *James Breslin (d.
