    3. Hi Barry: Thanks for your feedback, and suggestions. I do not know "where" in Tyrone, my ancestors came from. The only info I have is from an Obituary that said the Cobean family came from Tyrone. There are no other living family members, that I am aware of , or in contact with. My father was 64 when I was born, and his father was 40 when he was born, thus this entire generation has died off. I will keep your info, and insight in mind. Your family line came to Canada from Ireland around 1841. Do you know where they landed in Canada in 1841? The James McGuffin, b 1791, line I am researching came from Ireland to Canada in 1842 and then to Wentworth Co., Ontario. Would like to learn where this Irish family landed and how they made their way to Wentworth. Then the James McGuffin Family settled in Michigan in 1862. Do you know what Port in North America your family landed? Any search sites/records you are aware of? Any Help would be appreciated. Since my first post, which you replied to, I have done much traveling and researching. This is what I have learned. William came from Northern Ireland with this parents and brothers in 1800. His father is James, and here is 3 out of the 4 brothers: James, John, Joseph. The name of the other brother is unknown. They all lived in Hopewell Twp, Washington Co, PA in the 1810 census. There is a Robert Ralston, but he is elsewhere on the line and not the same person as who I was looking at. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I know that this area had a lot of Rafferty's and I could not match them to my Corrigan's.Robert is my Ggfather and 1st and only girl was Mary &2nd son was Patrick my gfather,so that would make Ann Raffertys father Patrick and mother Mary Rafferty.I think all the Raffertys left, but if any Rafferty's have Corrigan connections,I would love to hear from you.
