We have quite a bit on the Fultons, but I think there are a few I don't recognize there. We're really looking for an explanation of the relationship with the Donnelly family. Fare paid by mother. Destination: Philadelphia, cousin, James Donnelly, 2338 Monroe St.. Robert was from Newtownstewart, Ardstraw, Co. Tyrone, son of William and Isabella Fulton. [Robert's destination was the same address shown on the (1903) marriage license of Andrew J. McElrea of Dunmullan, Cappagh, Tyrone and Isabella Fulton (sister of above Robert) as the residence of Andrew, which adds weight to our belief that this is OUR Robert.] ---------------- On 29 Mar 1902, James Fulton of Beragh registered the death of Mary Donnelly, spinster, 86 years old; he was present at her death. Possibly this is another FULTON/DONNELLY connection related to the first noted above? Beragh is in the Sixmilecross district of Omagh, quite near Newtownstewart. 1. [NIR-TYRONE] DERRY WILLS 1684-1858
    2. Dave Mitchell
    3. Can anyone help with an explanation ....? If a Will from 1828 is listed under "Derry Wills 1684-1858" (Vol 5 Index to Irish Wills), does that mean that the will or a transcript thereof (or more detailed extract) would be available through the National Library in Dublin, or the PRONI, or elsewhere? i.e. would there be a researchable document of sorts somehwere that could well lead to more information being discovered, than simply the mention of the testator's name, residence and year? Any guidance much appreciated. Kind regards David Mitchell Cape Town South Africa

    3. Link: http://tammymitchell.com/cotyrone/ County Tyrone Gravestone Photo and Transcription Project! The mission of this project is to capture digital images of gravestones of our ancestors. As decades pass -- many stones are becoming harder, if not impossible, to read the inscriptions they originally contained. By archiving the images, we can help save these important records and also assist researchers using this valuable resource. If you have a photo of a gravestone, for someone born in Tyrone, but buried anywhere in the world... please visit, and consider uploading your record. Even if you do not have a photo, but you have a transcription, you may still post your valuable information, there is a link on the site to post a default image.. again, if you don't have one. Any questions, you may contact me directly Tammy ancestry@ripandrevmedia.ca

    3. I forgot to mention in my earlier email that ROSS DEVLIN lived in Killeen, Co. Tyrone. I believe that is very important since there are lots of Devlins in that part of Ireland! Also, that he had daughters MARY b. 1 January 1827 & BELLA b. 4 April 1829. One of his sons is probably JOSEPH, who was a witness to the marriage of PATRICK DEVLIN & SARAH QUINN in 1850. 3. I am looking for information about ROSS DEVLIN & his wife, MARY. I am a descendant of their son, PATRICK b. 1829 Co. Tyrone, who married SARAH QUINN b. 1828 Co. Tyrone on 9 September 1850 at Clonoe RC Church. Patrick & Sarah immigrated to Queensland with their 6 children - ALICE, ELLEN, ISABELLA, MARY, PATRICK & JOHN in 1863. I believe he may have had brothers & sisters who remained in Tyrone. According to her Australian death certificate Sarah Quinn's parents were PATRICK & ALICE CAMPBELL.. I have an elderly relative, Steve Kearney, in Rockhampton who was a great help to me & so I would like to find this information not only for myself but for Steve as well.
