    1. [NIR-TYRONE] Kithcart, McMinn's who married Mulhollands brickwalls.
    2. 45plus commander
    3. Hi I have two brickwalls that are causing numerous headaches trying to solve so I do hope that someone maybe able to put me out of my misery. The first is Letitia Kithcart who married Moses Mulholland somewhere the 1820's give or take 10 years.  I cannot find her birth, marriage or her death details.  The reason why I know she exist is because of her son's another Moses (my great greatgrandfather death certificate). Which brings me to the second Moses Mulholland jnr's wife Catherine nee McMinn.  I do know that these two were married in 1847 in Carland Tyrone, but I have no birth or death information.  I am led to believe through their marriage information on LDS that her father was James McMinn.  I know she must have died sometime around 1860 and 1862.  Reason being my greatgrandmother Margaret was born in 1860 and the family is recorded coming to Australia in 1862 and Catherine is not mentioned on the passenger list). So you see my frustration I have tried databases all over the place and can find no mention of them at all. 1. Re: [NIR-TYRONE] EWING/FORBES HELP! Kelly too...
    2. Tammy Mitchell
    3. Sorry, no direct connection that I am yet aware of.. but could be at some point - so I am answering. I have Ewing's that are said to have been from Co Tyrone, here is some info on them. Earliest known Ewing: Mathew Ewing married Anne Kelly Confirmed - son James Ewing b. 1785 (married Jean Peircy (Jane Percy)) Research has lead me to believe that these children are also of this couple: Samuel Ewing b. abt 1780 (married Amelia Blaney) Nancy Anne Ewing b. 1790 (married John Lang) Robert Ewing b. 1797 (married Mary Williamson) (this person could be a grandson of Mathew. I have all kinds of research on the children of this couple, so if you would like more info, contact me. Perhaps our Ewing's are somehow related as your Ewing's are from a later time period. My Ewing's all moved from Ireland to Ayr Scotland about 1812 or so. I don't know if the entire family moved to Ayr, there could have been some relatives that stayed in Ireland. This is a brick wall for me for sure. I do have the book Ewing's of Scotland, which is supposed to have a lot of info for some Ewing's that were born in Ireland too.. I just got the book the other day, and have not had a chance to look thru it yet. No index of names for the book, so I think finding a certain Ewing might take some time. 1. [NIR-TYRONE] Ireland GenWeb updates and additions
    2. Pat Connors
    3. This week the Surname Registry was updated with another 100 names. So far, over 300 names have been added in May. We still have a backlog of over 200 names so if yours isn't there, they will be soon. This week all the B's were added to the 1864 Ireland Birth Index. The C's will start going up soon. This week a new feature was started at IGW, the Surname Data Bank. This is dedicated to those who have done research on one particular surname, hoping to find connections. They end up with lots of data not needed for their family tree but since it took time and energy, the data is saved. Why not share your research? Here is a place to get it online and help others. We started with the McKernan (plus other variant spellings of the surname) Births, Marriages and Deaths found in the Ireland BMD indexs from 1864-1910. If you have data you would like to contribute, please contact me off list. You can find our site at: http://www.irelandgenweb.com/ Feel free to share this email on other lists that you may belong to. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

A son Joseph Charles Hall came to Australia around 1850 and his details are sketchy to say the least. He may have been born circa 1821. On of his Victorian marriage certificate he says he was born in Tircarr Co Tyrone to the above parents. Jane Bernay may have been born circa 1798. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry I do not have any more particulars except that they may have had a daughter, and another son is believed to have come to Australia as well.
