I believe there is a relationship between your Wilsons and mine, but just have to prove it. I can go pretty far back (1700s) but it is a matter of *proving* the links, as so little documentation remains. However, from what you have told me so far, I am hopeful. You say that your great-grandfather Isaac Wilson's father was named William - this is good news, as William is a name repeated throughout many generations! I am also excited by the Tweedley name as we have been chasing that thread for a while. (I may have some extremely interesting news for you on that score!!) How can we get in touch privately? I'm tend to avoid publishing my email address on a public message board. Can you suggest a way forward? I'd very much like to correspond with you and share data. Best wishes, ANN PS Yes, I live in Northern Ireland and my Wilson heritage stems from my paternal grandmother, who was a Wilson from Dyan Hill. Whereabouts in the world are you? I am trying to find some information about my ancestors, WILLIAM and MARY EMERY, who lived in Aghakinmart, West Longfield Parish, in about 1790. Other ancestors, by marriage, were JAMES and JANE NETHERY, who lived at Kirlish, West Longfield Parish, also in about 1790. Anything at all about those two Families would be greatly appreciated. They in turn had several children including my Grandma Mary.I was over in Ireland last month to see the hundreds of relatives{ all descended from the two in the churchyard}and we visited Crannagagh. Its still owned by a family member.I have asked 'Irish World,' based in Coalisland just outside of Dungannon, to research the McGartlands further ,as they just deal with Co Tyrone families.Although my great grandfather Felix stayed in Crannagagh and reared his family there, he is known to have had several brothers who emi! grated. One thing I'm sure of and that is that you are descended from Hugh and Mary just like the rest of us.. from Google THE IMPARTIAL REPORTER Issue: 26-09-2002 He worked for a short time in Dick Thompson's garage at Kilskeery and then ... to Bundoran Junction, which has been the Simmons' home for about 20 years. ... www.impartialreporter.com/archive/2002-09-26/news/story4408.html - 12k - It read ........Railwaymen retrace their last moments on steam trains Fermanagh's days of steam will.................. Norman Hilliard, from Enniskillen - whose late father, Thomas, originally of Trillick, was a G.N.R. guard - will also join in the commemorations. Thomas Hilliard, born in 1895, enjoyed working on the railways throughout his career, having served for over 40 years. He mainly worked from Bundoran Junction at Kilskeery to Bundoran and back again. A few years prior to retirement, Thomas worked from Enniskillen to Omagh and from Enniskillen to Clones. Thomas was working on the railways when he met his late wife, Emma, and the family lived at Kilskeery before moving to Enniskillen in 1953. The Hilliards had two children: Norman and the late Vera. Norman recalls his experiences of rail travel and he remembers travelling from Bundoran Junction to Enniskillen during the years, 1944 to 1953. Norman and his fellow passengers, who are planning to stop off at quite a few stations during Saturday's G.N.R. bus journey, are due to pay a visit to Bundoran Junction, which has been the Simmons' home for about 20 years. The stationhouse, a listed building, looks just the same as it was in its railways' heyday. Renovation work was undertaken in recent years........

I just wondered if anyone knows whether there are any Stuarts still living in the area of Drumquin, and whether anyone has any information about a 'George Stuart.'
