Hi Tammy: Many thanks to the link for the Tithe Summary for Skey. While it gives a lot of excellent data for 1827 (just after the period I am interested in), it is not exactly what I am looking for. What I am looking for, is a "running summary" of all lease transactions for each of the farms on Skey, from the early 1700's to at least 1825. This doc is a running history of all lease transactions to each farm. It shows lease payments, and new lease owners, every time the lease, or payment of the lease changed. Do you know if such docs exist for Tyrone ? I was able to obtain such a doc, for my ancestors in Sligo. Is there a "Registrar of Deeds", who would administer and keep tract of these land transactions ? Many thanks for your help, and guidance. Could someone direct me where one may procure the Ordance Survey Maps for County Tyrone, and what numbers are required. Have been checking the net but to no avail of anything satisfactory. Thanking you in advance. Chris CANADA
Hello Ann, Anyone can apply for a death certificate in Ireland There does not have to be any "family" relationship. A death certificate will tell you the following; The full name of the deceased. The date the death occurred The address at which the death took place Either the age or the date of birth of the deceased. The cause of death. The name, address and relationship to the deceased of the person reporting the death. In some cases a maiden name will also be given for a married woman or widow. best regards Robert www.ulsterancestry.com > I am looking for information about Rev Robert Alexander SIMMONS who > died in> Kilskeery on 15 February 1980.
