My ancestors are William Moffitt who married Jane Pickering on 14 Mar 1816, Magheralin Down. I believe William, Wesley and Charlotte Moffitt may have been children of thiers but think they may have been born in Horton, Nova Scotia. I am trying to find info on when Wm and Jane came to Ireland or left Ireland. Supposedly Wm was born in Scotland and Jane possibley England or Scotland. Other spellings include Moffat/Moffet. Thanks for any help.
