I seek information about a family that came to Lisbane/Saintfield area of County Down in the late 1600s, possibly from Ayrshire in Scotland. According to private accounts, Hugh McKee (b.1660) was granted land there by King William after 1689, although the land was later confiscated by the Marquis of Down. I have nothing to substantiate this. Can anyone shed light on these events, as well as the possible birth of Hugh Jr. in 1695? Thanks, Roy
