    3. Bill, There is a Greyabbey which is a small village http://greyabbey.com/location.htm There is also the Parish of Greyabbey which, as far as I can determine, incorporates the village of Greyabbey. More info can be found here http://www.libraryireland.com/Belfast-History/Greyabbey.php library ireland is an excellent site for information on all areas of Ireland. Greyabbey is but a very small locale with a very small population in and of itself. I am interested in the name Fowler. Namely a Joshua Fowler who was a witness to my GG Grandparents' (Joseph McMorran and Susanna Pepper) Wedding on 15th July 1858. I'm assuming Joshua was close to, and possibly related as were a lot of marriage witnesses, to one of the families. The other witness was Elizabeth Holland. So, if you come across this Fowler name during your research, I would be most interested. Likewise, if I come across your Elizabeth Fowler, I will certainly let you know. 3. Can any one tell me what a counting house was? Apparently Charles Jennings had a counting house at Ballybought Bridge, Newry about 1841 according to the Field Books. He was a merchant with a warehouse on Merchants Quay. Nicola Jennings
