Bev, I am willing to wait at the end of the line. My great grandfather, Philip Marmen Phillips, I believe was born in 1832 aomewhere around Newry. I think he married Mary Ann Chapman in 1855. I think Philip's father was William, curious if his mother was a Marmen or Marmion. Mary Ann's father was John Chapman. This may be a stretch, but anything you can find out would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Bob ----- Original Message ---- From: Bev Kerlin <bevkerlin@ozemail.com.au> To: nir-down@rootsweb.com; Y-IRL group <Y-IRL@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 11:36:14 PM Subject: Re: [NIR-DOWN] Emerald Ancestors L & B Copeland wrote: > OK Patricia I will check it again.. Nothing to rave about in my opinion (sorry to those who have found it helpful), but I think I already had most of their offerings, which I had found in other free resources. Three people I had born in Newry and they had recorded Tandragee in addition, so 3 records have been improved. One of their records had Great Grandmother as Amry, a simple typo, so was able to send an amendment to them. She was Mary Jane BELL married to James KERLIN. If anyone would like lookups, I would be pleased to help - still have 29 days to go <vbg>. Remember please, Y-IRL folk, it is only for ULSTER. http://www.emeraldancestors.com/ - for an initial looksee!
