Just out of curiousity, would any records exist to be able to look up a birth in Hilltown in 1845 or 1846? My g-g-grandfather Peter McAvoy was born that year then came to America (apparently alone) in 1858 to live with another Hilltown family, the McLaughlins, in Cattaraugus County NY. Shawn in AZ
