Hi Bev Is there any chance you could possibly do a look-up for me. I am trying to find out the parents of Edward TITTERINGTON who married Margaret TRIMBLE in 1858 - I'm hoping they show at least his father's name. He is the only Edward listed. Many thanks Anne

Ann I saw your email asking for a lock-up for Edward Titterington, who married Margaret Trimble, but it doesn't say exactly where. I lived near Hillsborough in Co Down at one time, and there were both Titteringtos and Trimbles in the village. Hi Sarah Sorry I should have added that Edward & Margaret Titterington lived in Moira, Co Down which I gather is not far from Hillsborough. They had four daughters Margaret born 1869, Mary born 1872, Emily born 1874 and Eliza born 1878 there were possibly two sons William & James (I have not been able to confirm this). Mary had two children Thomas (my Grandfather) and Elizabeth (their birth certificates show father as unknown). She later married Daniel Bann and had eight children. Emily married Thomas McClelland. Eliza married Joseph Banks. We still have distant relations living in Moira but unfortunately they have been of little help. I have tried contacting Titterington families in the area but have been unsuccessful - I'm sure we must all be related somehow, I just can't find the right pieces. Many thanks for your help. I have looked in familysearch.org but unfortunately they have no record of Edward. I was hoping to find that he was the son of John and brother to Matthew and then I could tie my Titterington's into another family of Titterington's living here in Western Australia.
