Just want to make a comment about wills. My great grandmother, Rose McManus Grant, had a will when she died in 1903 in Drumboniff townland Clonduff Civil Parish. I was surprised because she did not have much except for the land. She left the land to my grandfather, John Grant, and some money to one daughter, in Pittsburgh. My brother had found the will back in the '70's. My point is even if you think your ancestor was too poor for a will, check it out anyway. You never know what you'll find.
