A little girl, Catherine Rice, age 6, was living with her widowed grandmother, Catherine King Doran in Ballymagreehan in 1901. Also living there was her aunt, single, Mary Doran age 23; her uncle Bernard Doran,single age 28, and her great grandmother, Sarah King, widowed age 87. (Sarah's husband was the deceased Bryan King). Catherine King Doran's deceased husband was Arthur Doran, son of the deceased James Doran of Clarkhill. Known children of Catherine King and Arthur Doran: Bernard 1872 (married Annie McEvoy>1901<1911))--mygreat aunt. Mary b 1878 (married "Boden>1901<1911) Sarah b 1876 no further info Margaret b 1869 no further info possible child no 5--no info except possibility of existence (census 1911 says Cath King had 5 children 2 living) Obviously by 1911 the only 2 surviving children of Cath King Doran are Bernard Doran and Mary Boden. Neither can be the parents of little Catherine Rice who is NOT with her grandmother in 1911. Little Catherine, born @1895 parents must have been mother named ? Doran and father named ? Rice. Does anyone know the parents of Catherine Rice? Where she went to live in 1911? There is no record of birth for a Catherine Rice @1895 at Emerald Ancestors. Any help appreciated, Nan

Maybe I have found her parents. There was a Margaret Doran married to John Rice in Drumgooland on 04 Aug 1893 per Emer.Anc. No death of a Margaret Rice in Drumgooland in 1901 or earlier, however. Did any of this connect for anyone?
