Hi List, grandfather Thomas McALLISTER was born in the Ardoyne in Belfast 1899 in August, eighteen months late the family wasn't at the same address! I am desperate to find Thomas in the 1901 census with father Thomas and mother Jane. They were Catholic, so would anyone have any idea as to which part they may have ended up at. When grandfather was born they were living in Elmfield St, Belfast, but I am wondering whether they could have been visiting Jane's, née MURPHY, parents in Newry in 1901. The family are unable to be found in 1901. Jane was originally from Newry, the daughter of Terence and Mary Anne, and would be about 33, Thomas the father age is unknown. Anyone any ideas please?
