    3. I can't answer your question Wendy but for a person new to this list can you tell me what the EPPI is, I'm interested to know. James. -----Original Message----- From: nir-down-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:nir-down-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Robt & Wendy Stevenson Sent: 06 February 2008 08:07 To: nir-down@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NIR-DOWN] Parliamentary Papers on Ireland 1801 - 1922 I am fortunate to have found family members in the EPPI, but can someone tell me the following: In the appendix to Twenty-Sixth Report of the Deputy Keeper of Public Records, under Nature of REcord, it lists: ML, W or I. what does the I stand for?? Also, if there is a name in this appendix, does this mean that there is a book somewhere with more info? 3. > www.eppi.ac.uk/eppi/digbib/home James, it is a searchable list of documents held in England, with reference to Irish issues. The journal to which I refer is a summary of the 26th report of the Deputy Keeper of Public Records, and has Marriage Licence Bonds, Wills and 'I' - whatever that is - listed in the appendix, back to 1714 at least. I am looking for info in the volume that is referred to in the appendix. Check the website, put in your surname, townland, etc. and see what you get! Wendy
