Dear Wendy; I too, have a relative , a ggf, who was a "staunch Orangeman in Ireland. I am interested in the answer as well. I am also wondering if someone online could send in a picture of the sash of the Orangeman, so I could see what they looked like? Please place online any information about the records availability as well. Thanks, Jane -----Original Message----- From: Robt & Wendy Stevenson Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 4:31 PM To: nir-down@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NIR-DOWN] NIR-DOWN Digest, Vol 3, Issue 58 I am also interested in the answer to this question, Lin, as I too have an old Orange Order Sash, the owner was also high up in the Masonic Lodge. Hi Does anyone know how to print ancestry.com's copies of English census returns, enlarging the text (most importantly) loosing the thick [ink-wasting border]? Michael, I've been saving files from ancestry.com for a while now and while viewing the image I right click and choose 'copy' then paste it into my paint program and save as a jpeg. I then open it in my image viewer and crop the edges out. You should, at this point, be able to print out the image. If you're still having trouble email me at clairybums@dsl.pipex.com and let me know the details and I'll get it, edit and send it to you.
