Looking for information on the James Dickson Family who lived North of Kates Bridge in Down County.  The family has been there since before 1775.  James Dickson b. Aug 1806, north of Kates Bridge in County Down, would have been Presbyterian, Married Mary McEloy about 1829, her father Robert McElroy, grandfather Robert McElroy, Great Grand father Hugh McElroy who orginally purchased land in the area. Children: William b. Jan 24, 1830 County Down Robert 1833, County Down Samuel Oct 1838 County Down Alexander April 1835 County Down James had a brother John Dickson who married Elizabeth and had a son James in 1838 in County Down They left Ireland by ship from Liverpool to New York Port arrived June 10, 1840  Moved to Mahoning County, Ohio Looking for records: Marriage, baptism, Land Tax etc.  Pictures of the area.
