I do have James DICKSON in my Family, in fact that is my maiden name. I don't know where North of Kates Bridge is in County Down. Born 1841 my James is from Loughbrickland, County Down. He married Jane Taylor abt. 1866. She was born in 1842, her parents were John Taylor and Jane Bingham (daughter of Ringham Bingham). I just through that in because I love that name.:) James DICKSON's father was Hugh DICKSON b. 1807, his grandfather was David DICKSON b 1777. James and Jane and 3 children immigrated in 1871 to Canada, and lived in USA for a short time, then went back to Canada. Don't see how we match but it is worth a try. E l a i n e J.
