Thanks for the information on the Sheerans from Ballybot Newry. It's nice to get feedback on these obits and to find out exactly where people are from in Co Down. I'm looking for John's wife for you and will get back to you on that and anything else I find on this Newry to Chicago Sheeran family. I did find that James Sheeran and Sarah (Martin) went back to Newry for a visit in 1923 His passport listed his father's name as John Sheeran, deceased. James Sheeran was born Feb 20 1887, he and Sarah Martin married Jan 10 1917, I assume they married in Chicago as he gives date of emigration as April 1912 . There's a picture of Sarah and James on the passport image which I will send to you.
