Hi all, Does anyone have any information on this area near Newry? My husband's great grandfather gave as his residence Lower Commons on the marriage entry (taken from Ancestryireland.com) also found it listed on Raymond's web site :) Thomas Cunningham married Jane McCullough 20th March 1855 at Downshire Road Presbyterian. Was Downshire Road Presbyterian the local church for the "Commons" area? Jane McCullough was from Benagh. Also is there anything online showing the history of Benagh, Dysart/Desert and Crobane?
