For others who don't, I live in Belfast and have previously carried out research at Proni/General Registry Office/Linenhall library for various people on the rootsweb lists. I had to give it up for a time due to health reasons but thankfully am now able to take up the 'elusive ancestor' challenge again! :-) I have LOTS of genealogy books/cd's/files which I have accrued over the years which help me prepare for a visit to Proni, GRO, etc... I haven't had to research the records in Dublin as yet but I am very willing to hop on the train and take a look through their archives. I see that PRONTI does have someone that will search records for 13.30 lbs/hr, but they only search for a specific item/entry. I thought maybe an individual researcher would be better.
