Irish Independent December 17 1913 The funeral of the late Mr JAS ROONEY, of Ballywad, Castlewellan, ex-Chairman of the Banbridge Board of Guardians, brought together a vast cortege, representing all districts of Co Down. There was a large attendance of clergy. The interment was in the family burying ground at Dechomet, and the chief mourners were; Messrs A.J. Rooney (son) A. Rooney, B. Rooney, and P. Rooney (brothers) Rev E. McCArton, PP Derrymacash, Lurgan; and Mr A. Rice Ballynahinch (brothers-in-law) Mr J Rice (nephew); Messrs.
