My husband's Great-Aunt ELIZABETH McGIVERN, d/o Hugh McGivern and Jane Scott, b. 1875 Newtownards, married WILLIAM McCORMICK 02 Aug 1899 at First Presbyterian Church, Donaghadee. I haven't see the marriage registration and don't know William McCormick's father's name, but a witness was James McCormick. I haven't been able to find any trace of ELIZABETH (nee McGivern) and WILLIAM McCORMICK after that. All five of Elizabeth's full siblings emigrated to Canada but I haven't found any evidence that she did. Moreover, two of her nieces, who are still living, do not recall their father ever mentioning this sister, which makes me wonder if Elizabeth perhaps died early on in her marriage. Are there any McCORMICK researchers on the list who have these two in their tree? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sheila McGivern
