Hi Barbara, Were the other children listed in the Quaker Register? Was the father Quaker? Marriages would generally be in the bride's church. I find this information very curious because everything I've found previously indicated that they were Reformed Presbyterians; including a record of their marriage less than a year prior. I've googled this register and couldn't find an adequate explanation of these records.
