I have been trying to find an orphanage in Bangor that Charles Allen attended as a child to a teenager. I have his marriage details giving his father as David Allen. Was married in 1931 in Dunluce.. Says on his marriage cert that he was born in Belfast but cant find his birth. The story goes that his mother died when he was young and his father was killed in WW1 so he was sent to an orphanage. He later became an Episcopalian minister, that's was what he was when he married in 1913. Died in Scotland in 1969 age 63. Searched for his birth in Belfast in 1906 and couldn't find him. Trying to find also his mothers name. Any help would be appreciated. Margaret
