    1. [NIR-DOWN] William Rea b. 1715 in Ballynahinch = William Rea, Esq?
    2. Gary Rea
    3. I have a hunch that the William Rea christened at Ballynahinch Presbyterian Church, County Down, Northern Ireland 5 November 1715 and the William Rea, Esq. whose will was probated in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland in 1749 are the same man. Can anyone supply any data on either of these men that prove or disprove my theory? Gary Rea

    3. I haven't a clue - but is this REA family the same one that had a John Rea the elder who was one of the Irish Volunteers, and who also joined the United Irishmen. He was from Tamaghmore, between Saintfield and Ballynahinch, in Co. Down. He was the grandfather of the John REA.
