Nan you have a good point there. I was concentrating on the fact that having married in Toronto they most probably emigrated there and as it was part of the Commonwealth it might have been easier for them coming from Northern Ireland. However I guess one or both may have gone to the US first. I have had a look at Rootsweb Names for McMinn and there are a lot in the Pennsylvania area but as yet haven't connected any "dots' to these two.
