I am trying to find information about a KENNEDY family of Belfast. All the information I have so far is as follows: JAMES KENNEDY'S fourth daughter MARY O'NEILL KENNEDY married Richard Charles GAINFORT at St. John's Church, Laganbank, Belfast on Feb 22nd 1865 and James' occupation was given as Warehouseman. Another daughter, CECILIA LAFAYETTE KENNEDY married William Thomas CAVENDISH at the Consul's Office in Leghorn, Italy on May 1st 1873 and James was described as beling a Merchant of The Limes, Co. Down. (This address for that date, has proved impossible to find). He was given as deceased in the 1893 edition of Debrett's but I should have thought he would have warranted a fairly large obituary notice in a local paper, when he died! I am desperate to find out more about the family - who was his Wife, what sort of Merchant was he, who were the other members of his family, etc. etc.!
