Irish Times Feb 20 1906 County Down Centenarian's Death John Kelly died at his residence, St John's Point, near Killough, on Sunday night at the great age of 108. He was born at Dromena, near Castlewellan in 1798. He went to reside at St John's Point about 25 years ago on getting possession of a farm. He rarely ever complained of ill-health. At the late election for East Down he recorded his vote at the polling station in ardglass, where he was loudly cheered. Note In the 1901 census he was Head of family age 100, also living with him Dau Margaret age 45, Grandchildren Mary A Hugh J and Patrick J and SIL John Kelly age 50.
