There is a possibility that my 3rd GGrandfather was one of the following William McTears: one born wm mctier 1803 and died 1870 belfast area. one born wm mctear 1794 and died 1870 newtonards area and one wm teer born 1799 and died 1869 in downpatrick.   He married a Mary Whiteside Is it possible to find out which one, if any, is correct, without having to purchase all three certificates?    The family were from Newtonards area.
