Hope this helps someone! Irish World Jan 05 1901 News from Ireland On Nov. 30 the remains of MRS CRAWFORD, relict of the late HUGH CRAWFORD, Kankakee County, Montana, U.S.A. were removed for interment in Ballykinlar Cemetery. The deceased spent many years in America. On the decease of her husband nine years ago she returned to Ireland to spend the remaining of her days with her Brother, Mr Robert Marmion, Rathmullan, the only surviving member of the family. The cortege testified in a marked degree the wide popularity in which the deceased was held. The chief mourners were: Robert Marmion, brother; Rev James O'Laverty, Holywood; Edward Laverty, Carban; Bernard Veney, Rossglass; Edward James McMullan, Downpatrick; Patrick Veney, Rossglass, cousins. Among the clergy present were: Rev J.J. O'Hara, Dundrum; Rev B. Fajloona, Dundrum; Rev J.J. Deacon, incumbent, Rathmullan. Among the laity present were: John Denvir, Downpatrick; Bernard Laverty, Castlescreen; James Jellie, Glovett; William Laverty, Ballynewport; John Hanna, Clanmaghery; Joseph Fitzpatrick, Scollockstwon; Patrick Curran, John Watterson, Edward Sharvin, Edward Gribben, Thomas Cassidy, James Neill, of of Scollockstown; Edward Hanna, Lissold; Robert Fitzpatrick, Avondale House, Ballylucas; William Hutton, Leggamaddy; Henry McGarry, Ballynewport; Note: I didn't find a Hugh Crawford in the US census in Montana prior to 1900. I wonder if this lady and her husband were previously in Wyoming. There was a Lillie Crawford born Ireland living with a Hugh Crawford born Scotland in Wyoming in 1880.
