    3. The new spam filters are complicating life for me. It seems that if I put certain links into an email, then my emails have only something like a 50/50 chance of arriving. I don't know why, but this is how it is. Maybe it is because I live in The Gumboot Nation aka Roberts Creek. Unfortunately, it means that in the future, if you want to get to my blogs, then I have to send you there via my web page. The link for that is beneath. It seems that the spam filters don't have a hernia over that one. I have just posted a piece on my blog called "The Tip of the Iceberg". In it, I talk about some of what I have learned in my decade of doing this research. I also have a link to the latest piece of research that I have posted on my web site earlier today. The piece that I have just posted contains a great swat of the relationships between dozens of family members who found themselves in Hong Kong, South Africa, Ceylon, India and what have you in the 19^th century. Most of them came from England, some from Ireland and Scotland, and some managed to boggle me by arranging their lives such that they came from all three (ARBUTHNOT would be a good example). I have also posted another obituary that is quite lengthy and descriptive for George Mildmay DARE. As always, I have annotated it so it is less confusing about who is who. I have also posted the notes he wrote about his family before he died in 1907, similarly annotated by The Moi. The links to these two piece can be found at the end of my blog.
