Ancestry have now put Liverpool Parish Records on their site so for anyone who's Irish Ancestors went to Liverpool (like mine) they are wonderful. I only started looking yesterday and found 5 Birth dates, 3 marriage dates, a second husband for a Great-Aunt and the name of my G-G-Grandfathers sister (finally, I had no siblings for him till yesterday, hurray). All of these Ancestors are of Irish descent but I've never been able to find out who their mother was so this is really looking hopeful. Seeing the actual records is wonderful but what is even better is seeing who the Godparents are on the Baptism Records and the hand written notes on some of the Birth Records showing who the person later married and the date. I'm really hoping these new records will help me break down a few big brick walls (no conversation out of me today then, lol). Some of the names were completely wrong but once you check for parents or spouses you know they are yours. Kate FIELD
