Condolences to our friend and fellow family researcher Ruth McCartan on the death of her husband, Dr Edward McCartan. Doc passed away today in Romeoville, Il. Our sympathy also to Ed's brother, Charlie McCartan and cousins, Rosie and Peter Hines. Doc and Charlie are descendants of Ballymagreehan and Castlewellan McCartans.
