I wonder if anyone on the list with experience researching the Newcastle area knows which LDS films contain the 1901 census for Castlewellan Road & Bryansford Road? Pete.
The 1901 census for Burrenreagh townland Kilcoo Civil Parish is now on my website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~meaneypj/index.htm by clicking on the 'Latest updates' link. The search engine has also been re-indexed and updated. Regards Pete mailto:Peterjmeaney@ntlworld.com PS. If you find the information on my site useful please be kind enough to leave a brief message in my guestbook.
I am researching my family history and was wondering if you knew of an Elizabeth Cunningham or Peter Farrell from Greencastle? My great Uncle 'Alphonsus Farrell' still lives at Greencastle and breeds, deals & looks after horses there. My Grandmother who is still living is Kathleen Farrell and is his brother. You may also know peter-joe who lived behind the castle and you need to drive on the shore to get round to his house? he is around 87 now, and is in a care home on the mountain road in kilkeel town. Thanks very much Kevin Sproule :-) _________________________________________________________________ Get the next generation of Windows Live services now! http://get.live.com

Hi All, Sorry if this has already been mentioned. For those of you who haven't heard yet, there is a new collection available at www.ancestry.com for passport applications 1795-1925. These applications included a small photo of the applicant, as well as information as to their father's name, where they were born, etc. I'm actually thinking of subscribing now! If you click on the link above, you will see a link for the new collection at the bottom of the page. Good Luck! Claire McConville www.claires-rosleaancestry.co.uk

Bev: I'd be very grateful if you could look for deaths of James Johnston between 1900 and 1906, probably in Co. Monaghan but possibly Cavan, Fermanagh, Armagh, Down (also possibly Meath and Louth, but I know they're not in Ulster). Sorry it's such a common name. Diane
