    2. Dr. B. A. Gordon
    3. Thank you Raymond for this one. I have been researching Short(t)s in Ulster for about 30 years and found one to-day I did not know of in the Banbridge £10 Electors which you just put on your web site. It is a Moses Short in Moybrick, Dromara Parish. Is there any place on the net where the Tithe Applotments for this Parish can be found? Does anybody on the list have those mentioned in the Tithes in that Parish or do I need to order the film from the FHC in order to check that time frame? Or has anyone else any ideas of how to follow this one up? A Moses Short has not turned up in all my research over the years. 3. Hi Rick, Many thanks for this information. Interesting that there was a Bernard DORIAN married in Belfast in 1886, I wonder if they were related and how. My chap may well have been deceased by this time, I still have not found his death. His wife Ellen died in Victoria, Australia in 1883, and as far as I can tell all her children were here too but I am not sure about Bernard. I am trying to find their entry in to Australia but no luck so far. According to Ellen's death certificate she had been in the Colonies for ten years so arrived c1873. Again, my thanks for your quick reply. If I did, then it should all work. If I blew it anywhere, please let me know! I have had a few emails recently asking for even more bells and whistles on my web site. Sorry, but with my skill set and available time, this is as good as it gets. Maybe in the future. 1. [NIR-DOWN] Notes from Deeds Registry
    2. Sharon Oddie Brown
    3. As part of getting my ducks in a row in readiness for my next research binge in Ireland, I have typed out all my scribblings from previous visits to the Deeds Registry in Ireland. They ended up being an 80 page word document and including about 1,000 records (wills, deeds, leases, marriage articles ...). I have broken this document into smaller bits and posted it in ten separate documents so that it isn't a pain to download. You can access them all from this page: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/documents/DeedRegistry/Hyperlinks-DeedsResearch.html Unfortunately, I am only a rudimentary user of web building software so there are a few glitches. As always. The most annoying one (to me, at least) is that I had to cut out two columns from my original chart to make them fit the width of the screen. They were the columns that noted the townlands and key names. For those memorials where I have taken notes, this is not such a problem. Where I don't (and have only the memorial # and the key names), it will have to wait to come in the fullness of time. Since I will be adding substantially to this in the near future, there is no point in me making hundreds of formatting changes at this stage. So, I beg your patience. The best thing is that the records are organized by book number and I have hyperlinks to the records that I have footnoted notes made and posted. If you find any that you know more about than I do, then as always, I appreciate learning more. Enjoy!
